This box is sold by Runnerbox, Mike enjoys receiving this box. The box costs $19.95 + $6.95 s&h and arrives 6 days after my account is charged. They ship via USPS priority and do not send out tracking information. The box includes the signature Runnerbox tissue paper.
The first item in the box is a bag of Choopko Peanut Puffs. He hasn’t tried them yet, but I’m sure he will enjoy them.
Two brands he loves! He received an ACCEL Recover bar and ACCEL gel both of these items will be used as soon as the weather permits a long ride. The Honey Stinger is another favorite and he has not tried the Peanut Butta Pro before, so he is happy to see some new items.
The Sunscreen Bands seem like a great concept. You apply the sunscreen to the band and when it changes color you know it’s time to reapply. Then when it’s colorless it’s time to find some shade. This will probably not be something he’ll use even though he should. The Block Island SPF in 15 is great packet to place in his saddle bag for reapplication, higher SPF would be better though. The Primal Sports Muscle is a good item for him to keep at home on those harder rides.
Mike has never tried the Zym brand before, these electrolyte tabs are great for a water stop. The Doc’s Skincare chamois cream will be a great item for him to try. I like that it’s all natural.
WIN Detergent: a sports detergent that helps get rid of sweaty smells and is safe for performance fabrics. I may order this after we try it out, his cycling gear is always air dried and extra care is great for his expensive clothing. ~$1.00
He received a packet of SweatX detergent, ProGold Xtreme Chain Lube, and a packet of Pro Towels. All of these items will be used and he was happy to see the variety of items included. The sticker from ProGold was an extra bonus. The CycleBox sticker was great “Worry Less, Ride More”. Definitely Mike’s motto!
I was happy to see Mike received items he hasn’t tried yet. I tend to pick up random samples for him to try and this is a great way for him to discover new items. The value was about the same as the cost of the box and shipping. I will continue this subscription since it’s more about him trying new things than a great deal. The also included several coupon codes. Definitely a great gift idea for any runner, cyclist, or triathlete.
